Healthy Measures is currently growing our team of Health Screening Professionals for programs nationally. Health Screening Professionals will provide health screening services to a variety of clientele including corporate employees and Medicare/Medicaid clients in both community settings and physician offices.

Screening events are schedule Monday through Saturday with variable hours from 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift. Health Screeners will be able to select events which meet their schedule. This position is “on-call” and full-time positions are not available at this time. Health Screeners will be notified about local and non-local screening events and can sign up based on their availability.

We are seeking the following staff:

  1. Health Screeners who can provide basic biometric testing including blood pressure, Height/Weight/BMI, waist measurement.
  2. Phlebotomists who are licensed/certified to draw blood and do finger sticks. Depending on the event, Phlebotomists may be required to provide basic biometric screening.
  3. Health Educators who can provide education related to test results. Health Educators are typically healthcare professionals such as RNs, Nutritionists, Diabetic Educators, Psychologists.
  4. Spirometry Technicians who can administer spirometry tests.

We are seeking Health Screening Professionals that will perform confidential health screening services in a professional and reliable manner that will reflect Healthy Measures commitment to excellence, accuracy and confidentiality.

ALL STAFF RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Arrive at screening site 30-60 minutes prior to event start for setup
  • Data Entry – Paper and/or Mobile Devise
  • Ability to perform all screening activities in a clinically compliant manner following all policies procedures (including, but not limited to, state/federal laws, OSHA, HIPAA, CLIA)
  • Assist with screening event setup and tear down including, but not limited to, loading/unloading supplies from vehicles
  • Adhere to Healthy Measures performance and professionalism standards including, but not limited to, data privacy (HIPAA) and confidentiality policies
  • Treat all screening participants with dignity and respect
  • Contribute to the successful execution of screening events
  • Stay up-to-date on current health trends

ALL STAFF JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Qualified candidates must have a reliable form of transportation (valid driver’s license, registered transportation, and car insurance), must be willing and able to travel in local area, and must have consistent internet access via a laptop or desktop computer.
  • Strong interpersonal verbal and non-verbal communication skills, follow direction as a team player with an enthusiastic and positive attitude, and demonstrate reliability and consistency.
  • High degree of reliability in terms of punctuality and commitment to scheduled programs

ALL STAFF WORKING CONDITIONS:

Some light lifting and carrying is required. May be required to lift and push/pull up to 30 lbs. Must be able to stand for up to 4 hours.

HEALTH SCREENER REQUIREMENTS

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Accurately and confidentially measure and document results at various screening stations including: manual blood pressures, Height/Weight/BMI, Waist Circumference, Body Fat Measurement

EDUCATION/LICENSE REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school degree or equivalent required
  • Minimum of 1-year healthcare experience in a professional health care setting
  • Prior experience and proven proficiency in manual blood pressure measurements, height and weight measurements
  • Proficiency in English required with proficiency in Spanish a plus
  • Medical Assistant certification is a plus
  • Must be able to pass a criminal back ground check and drug test
  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree in a medical, health, or fitness related field; or a nursing degree, EMT/Paramedic, Medical Assistant, Nursing Assistant

PHLEBOTOMIST REQUIREMENTS

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience with venipuncture blood drawing and/or fingerstick with Cholestech
  • Over 100 successful finger sticks within the last year and a minimum of 200 successful blood draws within the last 6 months

EDUCATION/LICENSE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience in a lab setting (i.e. LabCorp, Quest, etc.) or as a mobile examiner
  • Previous experience at onsite wellness screenings
  • Additional licenses, certifications and medical training
  • Bilingual Spanish is a plus

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform venipuncture blood draws in a fast-paced environment
  • Perform and record biometric testing results including, but not limited to height, weight and blood pressure
  • Set up and break down portable blood draw station
  • Potentially transporting supplies to and from health screening events (lifting 10-20 lbs.)

EDUCATION & TRAINING:

  • Certification in Phlebotomy and/or MVR’s may be required
  • OSHA-GEN, Office Safety Training and OSHA ICP Training
  • Comply with all state and federal licensing, credentialing and educational requirements

HEALTH EDUCATORS REQUIREMENTS

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide health testing results to participants
  • Interpret test results including cholesterol, glucose, diabetic screening, BMI
  • Fill out health test results brochures
  • Make health referrals as required
  • Quality assurance of test result forms

EDUCATION AND TRAINING

  • Training and/or certification in disciplines including:
    • Nutrition
    • Exercise physiology
    • Diabetic education
    • Nursing
    • Wellness coaching
    • Psychology
    • Health Coaching

SPIROMETRY TECHNICIAN REQUIREMENTS

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide spirometry testing to adults and children
  • Interpret test results including FVC, FEV1, FEF, PEF

EDUCATION AND TRAINING

  • Trained to administer spirometry tests
  • PREFERRED – Certified pulmonary function technologist
